With shorter days and cooler temperatures, it’s clear that winter is on its way. But have you thought about a winter health check for your heating?
Knowing your heating is running smoothly and that you can have a steaming-hot bath whenever you want to are top priorities in the colder months.
It’s worth making sure that everything is working as it should and in tip top condition. That way, if there are any problems, we can fix them before you need your heating the most. Just let us know.
How to check your heating
- Choose a cooler evening or morning
- Make sure the HIU in turned on, your programmer is set to 24hrs and then turn your thermostat to it’s maximum temperature
- Wait approximately 30 minutes for any radiators to heat up (underfloor heating can take up to 3hrs)
- Check your radiators/under floor heating are warming up
