We have been in contact with you recently regarding booking in your overdue HIU maintenance appointment and can see this has not been booked in yet.

Booking your appointment

We know that everyone is busy and your service shouldn’t take longer than 2 hours. You can choose a morning or afternoon appointment, so you won’t be waiting around all day. Unfortunately, we can’t offer appointments for weekends or evenings at the moment.

To book your HIU appointment please either call our approved partner Birdsall on 01442 206096 or email HIUreactive@birdsall.co.uk, you’ll need to let them know:

Your safety is our top priority and to make sure that we can always meet the standards you expect we need to service your Heat Interface Unit every two years. Checking over the equipment also means we can be sure your heat and hot water is working as efficiently and reliably as it should. Your HIU service is included in our prices, so there’s no extra charge.

On the day

Our approved engineer from Birdsall will visit your property to carry out the service. Please make sure that anything stored on top of or surrounding the Heat Interface Unit (e.g. any shelving and/or washing machines etc) is removed. The engineer will need to have access to complete your service.

To ensure the safety of you and our engineers, we’ll be asking if anyone in the household is ill or in self-isolation before visiting your property. If you become ill, or want to postpone your appointment, please let a member of our team know as soon as possible and we’ll be happy to rearrange to keep everyone safe and healthy.
